NIC México has created the DNSSEC Trial México project with the objective of spread DNSSEC technology and to obtain the technical experience required for a future DNSSEC deployment for all .mx domains.

Any Internet user can be a DNSSEC Trial México member and register DNSSEC domains under the test.mx tree. test.mx is the first SLD created since registrations under .mx were closed.

Registrations under test.mx are without charge.

The system will verify that the name server provided for the test.mx domain name registration is authoritative for the domain and that it has DNSSEC enabled.
